Join us for an evening of meaningful conversation, inspiring stories, and music as we explore the future of mental health in an age of rapid technological change.

Featuring sociologist and technology expert Dr. Jason Burtt, we will consider how human connection, compassionate care, and faith continue to matter, perhaps now more than ever. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal, hear stories of Telecare's impact, and learn how to support our growing chat ministry that's reaching the next generation. The evening will conclude with a special violin performance by Calvin Dyck.

Calvin Dyck

Concert violinist | Calvin is the Artistic Director for Oceanside Classical Concerts, the Artistic Director of the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra, has a teaching studio of 30 students, and is a busy producer with his company Songs, Strings and Steps Events Ltd.  

Dr. Jason Burtt

 Sociology Professor & technology expert | Currently teaching at Trinity Western University, Jason will be leading an engaging conversation around the importance of navigating technology well.

Calvin Dyck

Who should attend?

This event is open to anyone interested in learning and discussing the future of mental health, especially as it relates to technology and the younger generation, plus those who would enjoy a musical performance by Calvin Dyck. This event invites anyone interested in learning about and supporting Telecare Crisis & Caring Line's ministry.

Does it cost to attend?

Yes, there is a $25 admission fee to help cover the cost of the full three-course meal.

Is there parking?

Yes, there will be free parking at the Garden Park Tower for guests.

Will there be an opportunity to donate?

Yes, all money rasied during this event will go directly towards supporting Telecare BC's ministry and work. There will be multiple opportunities both digitally and in-person when attendees can give to Telecare.
